The 2014 Hathersage Chardonnay was fermented in 225 litre oak barrels at 10 degrees Celsius for 3 months. Thereafter, the yeast was stirred monthly for an additional 3 months and then left to mature in barrel for a further 10 months.
Hathersage Chardonnay is produced from fully ripened grapes that are matured on their lees to create a bouquet of crusty baked bread. On the palate, the wine is fruit driven with citrus notes and subtle vanilla oaking.
Pair this wine with lobster, scallops, sh in rich sauces, salmon and Alaskian King Crab, which is especially good with this elegant wine.
