This Special edition Hathersage white wine is made up of 62 percent
Sauvignon Blanc and 38 percent Sémillon. As such, it takes on the fresh characteristics of the Sauvignon Blanc with the seriousness of the Sémillon.
The wine is subtle on the nose and palate. Intense citrus blends with complex passion fruit, white peaches and pears. The wine is classically elegant and made for the connoisseur.
It lingers on the palate as the Sauvignon Blanc gives way to the lanolin nish of the Sémillon.
Baked fish dishes, crab in all its wondrous forms, abalone and lobster are all candidates to pair with this wine.
